What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting another company's product or service online. Simply put, you promote a product we sell to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that we make.
How does it work?
Are you already posting about products we sell? In that case, you can simply generate links for those products and add them to your blog, YouTube video descriptions, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media posts. When someone accesses our store through one of your affiliate links, you'll and earn 8-12% commission from any purchases made within a six month window. The percentage varies according to the item, so be sure to check the product chart on this page. After a sale has been confirmed, OMG Japan will send you the earned commission to a Paypal account of your choice.
What do I need to do to join?
If you have a website, blog, or social media site, you can sign up for our affiliate marketing program here. We use Refersion, third-party software that automates the affiliate marketing program for us by keeping track of all digital sales you refer and then automatically paying you the commission. Signing up is super easy, and the process is very straightforward from there. You'll get your own personal dashboard from where you can grab links and invisible banners for your site and track activity in real-time. If you have any further questions about how it works, just send us an email at help@omgjapan.com anytime!
Tips for being successful
It's always a good idea to have a clean, well-designed website that is also mobile-optimized. Images on the site should be of the highest production value you can make them, and they should be high-resolution but not too large in size that they take a long time to load – JPEGS or PNGs of less than 500KB work well. Make sure all the links to our products are valid. Also, you should proofread all text carefully, so there are no typos or grammar and spelling mistakes. Furthermore, try to make all the content you post as informative as possible. You could also think about following SEO best practices to help drive more traffic to your site. Think about keywords and where to put them, and perhaps also include some content on popular brands like Pocky, Kit Kat, or famous books like Minna No Nihongo to help people find your site. Overall take a step back and consider, "Would I want to check out this site or blog?" If not, think about what you can do to make it more attractive to your desired audience. At the end of the day, if you share your passion in a fun and engaging way, people will be drawn to your content. Ganbatte ne!

]]>We at White Rabbit Japan strive to bring the best products to you which is why we spent some time selecting and adding new products to our shop. This time, we focused on Japanese studies materials, reading support in particular as well as newly-published textbooks!
New Japanese language textbooks, workbooks, short stories, bilingual books... Let's have a look at what we picked for you! 🔍
Discover Miyazawa Kenji's classic fantasy novel Night on the Galactic Railroad in its Japanese English bilingual edition.
Night on the Galactic Railroad tells the story of Campanella and Giovani, two children from a small village who are taken on a journey on a train that travels through the Milky Way and reflects on what friendship, happiness and life mean.
Posthumously published in 1934, Miyazawa Kenji's timeless story can be appreciated by both children and adults. It was later adapted as an animated movie and also famously inspired Leiji Matsumoto's classic animation series Galaxy Express 999 (both pictured above).
This edition features the Japanese original text on right pages and its English translation on left pages. The Japanese part features furigana reading for most of the Kanji characters which you can read through quite easily.
Two compilations of short stories based on Miyazawa Kenji and Akutagawa Ryunosuke's works!
The original Ikki Ni Yomeru book series features stories written in Japanese designed to be read smoothly in 10 minutes. These books are unique in that each contains a collection of both old and modern tales, many penned by major contemporary authors in Japan. All books in this series are illustrated by Yoshiyuki Momose, one of the animators for Mononoke Hime and Studio Ghibli.
We have added the two latest volumes of the New Kanzen Master JLPT 4 series, focusing on Listening Comprehension & Reading Comprehension.
A 3rd volume dealing with Grammar for the level 4 of the JLPT is also available. You can check the whole New Kanzen Master collection via the link below.
New Kanzen Master Series |
Before we forget, one more thing : a 4th volume focusing on the Kanji for the JLPT 4 will be published this September and we will make sure to let you know when this volume is available on White Rabbit Japan!
We named it : the perfect book for all first-time travelers in Japan !
"This book was written for visitors to Japan to help them communicate easily in Japanese. We avoided focusing too much on proper Japanese in favor of presenting the kind of Japanese that is actually used in everyday life. Putting aside more complicated things like grammar and the study of characters, this book is meant to be used as soon as you open it."
Too busy to learn Japanese but want to learn some quick, useful phrases to get by during your stay in Japan ? Then look no further, as this book will provide you with all kinds of daily useful phrases to conquer most situations you may face in Japan. Includes audio download as well.
Which is why we have this great selection of short stories for children available. Japanese language learners from the levels N5 to N2 of JLPT can enjoy and practice with those books.
We also have books for more advanced readers in our Read In Japanese section. Check it out! 🔍
